Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the Grenbee website, platform, and services ('Platform'). By creating an account, booking a service, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
01.Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or placing a booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into a binding contract. Your use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any policies referenced here, including our Privacy Policy, Payment Policy, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy, and Satisfaction Guarantee. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated 'Last updated' date, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
02.About Grenbee and the Platform
- •Grenbee is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent service professionals ('Providers') who perform home services.
- •Services currently include house cleaning, lawn care, and pressure washing, with optional add-ons such as TV mounting and furniture assembly, and may expand over time.
- •Grenbee operates in select service areas in the United States and is expanding. Availability depends on your ZIP code at the time of booking.
- •Grenbee facilitates scheduling, pricing, and payment; it does not itself perform the services. Providers are independent contractors, not employees of Grenbee.
03.Account Registration and Security
- •You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and to keep it up to date.
- •You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- •Notify us promptly at support@grenbee.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- •We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or are used for fraudulent or abusive activity.
04.Bookings and Scheduling
- •A booking is confirmed once your payment is successfully processed for the quoted amount.
- •You must provide accurate address, contact, and access information so the service can be delivered as scheduled.
- •Grenbee uses commercially reasonable efforts to fulfill bookings within the selected time window, but exact arrival times may vary.
- •Service availability, time slots, and same-day cutoffs are determined by Provider availability in your area.
- •Cancellations and rescheduling are governed by our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
05.Pricing and Payments
- •All prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD). The price shown at checkout reflects the scope and options you selected.
- •Your payment method is charged immediately when you confirm your booking, in order to reserve your appointment. There is no separate authorization-and-later-capture step.
- •If your booking cannot be saved after a successful charge, the charge is automatically refunded to your original payment method.
- •Additional scope requested on-site beyond the original booking may be quoted and billed separately, subject to your approval.
- •Payments are processed by Stripe; see our Payment Policy for accepted methods, refunds, taxes, and disputes.
06.Recurring Plans and Grenbee Plus
- •Recurring plans bill on a defined cycle and include a minimum commitment as described at sign-up. You can cancel from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- •Grenbee Plus benefits are included automatically with a qualifying active recurring plan at no additional cost, and end when the qualifying plan ends.
- •Full terms applicable to recurring plans, including any early-cancellation review, are presented at the time you enroll.
07.Customer Responsibilities
- •Ensure safe and timely access to the property (unlocked entry, gate codes, parking, and pet containment).
- •Disclose known hazards, fragile or high-value items, and any special access conditions before the appointment.
- •Be present, or designate a responsible adult (18+) who is reachable during the service window.
- •Do not request services that violate any law, lease, or HOA restriction, or that create an unsafe working environment.
- •Provide a safe, harassment-free environment for Providers. Abusive conduct may result in cancellation without refund and account termination.
08.Text Messaging (SMS)
- •If and when SMS messaging is enabled, Grenbee may send service-related text messages (such as booking confirmations, reminders, and Provider updates) to the mobile number you provide, and you consent to receive them.
- •Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
- •You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. Opting out of texts does not affect transactional emails needed to manage your bookings.

09.Reviews and User Content
- •You may submit reviews, ratings, photos, or other content related to a completed booking. You are responsible for the content you submit and must own or have the right to share it.
- •Content must be truthful and must not be unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
- •By submitting content, you grant Grenbee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.
10.Acceptable Use
- •Do not use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.
- •Do not attempt to circumvent Grenbee to solicit or pay Providers off-platform for services discovered through Grenbee.
- •Do not interfere with or disrupt the Platform, attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape data, or introduce malicious code.
- •Do not misrepresent your identity, impersonate others, or submit false booking or payment information.
11.Independent Contractor Relationship
Providers are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or partners of Grenbee. Grenbee does not control the manner or means by which Providers perform services beyond facilitating the booking. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, joint venture, or agency relationship between you, Grenbee, and any Provider.
12.Third-Party Services
The Platform relies on third-party services, including Stripe (payments), Firebase/Google (authentication and data storage), and our hosting provider. Your use of those features may be subject to the third party's own terms and privacy policies. Grenbee is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of third parties.
13.Disclaimers
The Platform is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Grenbee does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Service outcomes depend on the scope agreed at booking and on conditions at the property. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
14.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grenbee and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or any service. Grenbee's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to a booking shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific booking. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
15.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grenbee and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or content you submit.
16.Intellectual Property
All content, branding, logos, software, and materials on the Platform are the property of Grenbee or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. 'Grenbee' and the Grenbee logo are trademarks of the company.
17.Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and apply to customers nationwide. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform that is not resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@grenbee.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
18.Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for operational, legal, or security reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
19.Changes, Severability, and Entire Agreement
- •We may modify these Terms; the current version is always posted on this page with its effective date.
- •If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
- •These Terms, together with the policies referenced here, constitute the entire agreement between you and Grenbee regarding the Platform.
- •Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
20.Force Majeure
Grenbee is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, labor shortages, utility or network failures, or government actions.
