Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 2026

Grenbee is committed to ensuring that our platform is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

01.Our Commitment

We believe everyone deserves equal access to professional home services. Accessibility is not an afterthought — it is an ongoing part of how we design and build our platform. We work to identify and resolve barriers that may prevent users with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities from fully using Grenbee.

02.Conformance Status

  • Grenbee partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. 'Partially conforms' means that some content or features may not yet fully meet all guidelines.
  • We are actively working to close remaining gaps on an ongoing basis.
  • Our target standard is WCAG 2.1 Level AA across all public-facing pages, the booking flow, and the customer account area.

03.Accessibility Features

  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements (buttons, form fields, links) are reachable and operable via keyboard alone.
  • Screen reader support: Pages use semantic HTML landmarks, ARIA labels, and descriptive alt text to assist screen reader users.
  • Sufficient color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet or exceed the WCAG 4.5:1 contrast ratio for normal text.
  • Resizable text: The layout adapts when browser text size is increased up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines are present on all interactive elements.
  • Form labels: All form inputs are associated with descriptive labels and include inline validation messages.
  • No reliance on color alone: Information is never conveyed by color alone; icons, labels, or patterns supplement color cues.

04.Known Limitations

  • Some third-party embedded components (Stripe's payment form) are controlled by Stripe and may have their own accessibility constraints.
  • Certain date pickers in the booking flow may not be fully optimized for all screen reader combinations — we are working on improvements.
  • If you encounter any other accessibility barrier, please contact us so we can address it promptly.

05.Technical Specifications

  • Grenbee's platform is built with React 19, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
  • We rely on native HTML semantics wherever possible rather than ARIA overrides.
  • Accessibility testing is performed with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and automated tools as part of our development process.

06.Feedback and Contact

  • If you experience any difficulty accessing content or completing a task on our platform, please contact us at support@grenbee.com with the subject line "Accessibility Feedback."
  • Include a description of the page or feature you were trying to use, the assistive technology or browser you were using, and a description of the issue.
  • We aim to respond within 2 business days and to resolve substantive accessibility issues within 30 days.
  • If our response does not satisfy you, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice ADA Information Line at 1-800-514-0301 (voice) or 1-800-514-0383 (TTY).

07.Formal Complaints

We are committed to resolving accessibility complaints. If you believe we have not adequately addressed your concern, you may submit a formal complaint by emailing us at support@grenbee.com with the subject line "Accessibility Complaint." We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days.
