01.What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Browser local storage is a related technology that lets a site retain small pieces of data locally. These technologies can keep you signed in, preserve anonymous session identifiers, and help measure how the site is used.

02.Technologies We Use

• •Authentication storage: Our authentication provider uses browser storage/session tokens to keep you signed in. This is necessary for authenticated parts of the platform.
• •Session security tokens (Stripe): When you proceed to checkout, Stripe may set cookies necessary to detect fraud and process your payment securely. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• •Grenbee first-party analytics: We store a random anonymous visitor identifier and a 30-minute inactivity-based session identifier in local storage. These identifiers help measure page views, traffic sources, booking-funnel stages, conversion, and active sessions. They do not contain your name, email, phone number, street address, or payment data.
• •Google Analytics 4: We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These cookies collect device and usage data subject to Google's policies.
• •Google Ads conversion measurement: If you arrive from one of our Google ads and complete a booking, Google Ads may set cookies that let us measure that the booking came from an ad. We use these for conversion measurement, not behavioral retargeting.

03.First-Party Analytics Safeguards

• •Grenbee's first-party analytics does not persist raw IP addresses, precise GPS coordinates, postal codes, arbitrary URL query strings, names, emails, phone numbers, or street addresses in the analytics tables.
• •Our hosting infrastructure may derive approximate city, state/region, country, and timezone from network information before the analytics event is stored.
• •The first-party tracker is disabled on admin, staff, account, and authentication routes and when the browser exposes Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track as enabled.
• •Detailed analytics events are retained for up to 90 days. Anonymous visitor and session summaries are retained for up to 395 days.

04.Strictly Necessary Cookies

Authentication and payment-security technologies are necessary for core functions such as signing in and completing a booking. Blocking them can prevent those features from working. Analytics and conversion-measurement technologies are not required to book a service.

05.Third-Party Services

• •Supabase: Used for authentication and platform data.
• •Stripe, Inc.: Processes payments securely and may set fraud-prevention cookies.
• •Google Analytics (Google LLC): Provides aggregate usage analytics.
• •Google Ads (Google LLC): Measures conversions from advertising campaigns; Grenbee does not use it for behavioral retargeting.
• •Our hosting provider: Serves the web application, processes network requests, and supplies coarse geographic context used by Grenbee's first-party analytics.

06.Managing Cookies and Local Storage

• •Browser settings: Major browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies and local storage. Clearing local storage resets Grenbee's anonymous first-party visitor identifier.
• •Privacy signals: Grenbee's first-party analytics honors browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals when they are exposed to the site.
• •Sign out: Signing out ends your authentication session according to the authentication provider's behavior.
• •Google controls: You can separately manage Google Analytics and Google Ads technologies through browser settings and Google's available privacy controls.

07.Changes to This Policy

If we begin using materially different tracking technologies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by applicable law, seek consent before using new non-essential technologies.
